I am trying to map the availability of support services for older people (65 years +)in Winchester's northern parishes, Winchester's southern parishes and in the Winchester City area.

By support services I mean anything which helps older people to feel part of their community, and/or which helps them to remain independent. So the range is wide and could include anything from a luncheon club, to a hobbies club, through to help with shopping or gardening.

If you know of anything in your area, please let me know.

My contact telephone number is 01962 848041 and my e-mail address imilsom@waca.org.uk

I am currently mapping the availablity of exercise/keep fit opportunities for the 65+ age group in Winchester District. This could take the form of escorted walks, exercise classes (including chair-based exercise), Tai Chi, swimming, cycling, or sports activities specifically aimed at this age group.

Any information gratefully received.

I am trying to find out how someone who feels unable to go through the process of selling their property to downsize or get into residential care, copes. If there were any agency you know of to help.

I have much experience in this and feel that I could offer my services to do this - I have a clean CRB certificate. At first I could do it voluntarily and see how it went.

Could I have your thoughts on this please?

Many thanks
